Step 01
Inspect the evidence
Coordinate with veterinary treatment rather than treating the building in isolation
Biting pests
Flea & Tick Control for Austin homes starts with the evidence. Assess indoor activity, shaded outdoor shelter, and pet-used areas before confirming property treatment and preparation. Request a free estimate to confirm the work your property needs.
The short answer
Flea and tick inspection connects the property evidence with the places people and pets use. At an Austin home, pet bedding, floors, upholstery, shaded outdoor shelter, and yard edges can call for different preparation and treatment choices. Tell the office which areas are involved and what has already been cleaned or treated. Bugged assesses the property; questions about treating an animal belong with its veterinarian. Follow the written access, cleaning, and re-entry directions instead of assuming a single application covers every life stage or introduction. Continuing activity should be documented for review. The recurring plan and written estimate confirm included work and any follow-up appropriate to the findings.

Inspection first
Every visit starts with the property, not the product. This is what the technician checks before recommending anything.
Checked 01
Pet sleeping zones, floors, furniture, shaded yard areas, and wildlife access
Checked 02
Life-stage evidence, recent vacancy, pet treatment status, and high-contact edges
Inspection to treatment
Treatment selection follows the inspection, the written scope, and the applicable product label.
Step 01
Coordinate with veterinary treatment rather than treating the building in isolation
Step 02
Use cleaning, laundering, monitoring, and targeted label-approved applications by habitat
Step 03
Reassess after immature stages have had time to emerge instead of promising instant completion
Scope before promises.
Bugged does not diagnose or treat animals. Veterinary care and consistent pet protection are essential; property treatment alone may not resolve ongoing introductions.
What it costs
Flea and tick service is available on every recurring HiveGuard plan. An established indoor infestation usually needs an initial treatment plus a timed follow-up, and that is scoped at the inspection. Veterinary products for the pet itself are your veterinarian's call, not ours, and are not part of the estimate.
The initial-service fee is confirmed in your written quote. Payment authorization is collected at signup; the initial-service fee and first monthly payment are charged after initial service completion, plus applicable tax.

Get startedYour visit record is designed to show what happened, not just that someone stopped by. Depending on the work performed, it can include before-and-after photos, areas inspected or treated, useful service notes, and the next steps discussed for the home.
Follow the property preparation and cleaning directions and keep pets away from treated areas for the instructed interval.

Bugged evaluates the property. Questions about treating an animal belong with its veterinarian. Tell the team which rooms and outdoor areas pets use so property preparation and treatment directions account for them.
Life stages and shelter can require follow-through beyond a single application. Follow the written cleaning, access, and monitoring instructions and report where activity remains; the service scope determines any follow-up.
Immature fleas can remain protected in the environment and emerge later. Vacuuming, pet treatment, targeted control, and scheduled follow-up address different life stages.
Never assume that. Animal products must be chosen with a veterinarian and used exactly as labeled. Property products are not applied to pets.
Reviewed . Treatment selection follows inspection and the applicable product label.
