Why We Started Bugged Pest Control in Austin

Bugged's local owners explain why better communication, visible service, and local accountability sit at the center of the company.

A premium service should feel clear

Pest problems arrive with enough uncertainty already. We started Bugged to make the service around them calmer: a local team that explains what it sees, communicates what comes next, and respects the home throughout the visit.

Technology supports that promise instead of replacing the relationship. Customers can still call or text us directly, while the Bugged app keeps routine service information close at hand.

Local ownership means local accountability

Bugged is owned by a local Austin husband-and-wife team. The company is being built for Greater Austin homes, with service standards and educational content shaped around the conditions customers actually encounter here.

We do not borrow another market's history or publish claims we cannot trace. Trust has to be earned through the work, the documentation, and the way the team responds when a customer needs help.

The standard we are building

Professional and courteous technicians, useful arrival updates, before-and-after documentation, direct communication, and return visits for covered pests are not decorations around the service. Together, they are the customer experience we want Bugged to be known for.
